Jeremy Day knows every aspect of the energy industry. With over 10 years of experience, he’s made his way up the supply chain, working in energy retail, distribution and manufacturing. Most notably, Jeremy spent five years as the National Sales Manager at Fronius Canada, one of the top 10 inverter manufacturers worldwide, before focusing on selling industrial energy storage systems.
After years of finding success in sales, Jeremy decided to take a leap of faith.
“I really wanted to be fully independent and make a real contribution in growing the local market – to be a real entrepreneur and true leader,” he said. And so Jeremy started Rechargeables Inc., a company dedicated to helping B2B businesses build a sustainable future.
But solar distribution wasn’t always Jeremy’s chosen career path. At 16, he left home to pursue a different dream. He was determined to be a professional hockey player.
After three years in the OHL, he won two pre-season NHL games with the Atlanta Thrashers, before an injury forced him to switch gears. Jeremy chose Brock University to finish his hockey career, as a Varsity athlete.
His passion for creating a sustainable future led him to become the Chair of the Board at PNUC Renewable Energy Co-operative, a not-for-profit that focuses on raising awareness and building new sustainable energy projects.
